Here at the Welsh School of Architecture we are proud of, and celebrate, the the international diversity of our PGR community.

For the first time, at an event in April 2020, the School’s large cohort of PhD students celebrated both the international diversity and wide spectrum of high-quality original research being undertaken.

This event invited students to bring food, play music and share an image of architectural masterpieces from more than 20 countries from all the world’s continents to be shared in a joyful atmosphere.

The event was initiated and organised by Dr Magda Sibley, Director of International, in collaboration with Dr Federico Wulff, Dr Hiral Patel and a team of volunteering PhD students.

The event was a great success and a much larger-scale event is planned for the upcoming year to celebrate the international dimension of all WSA’s staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students.
