Creating eastern traditions within a western society
This object represented the relationship between zendo, human and nature which also took in the main characteristics of in Japanese and western dojo. The building not only gives the monk a quiet and comfort space to live and do meditation, and also plays as a role of introduction of this whole peaceful city farm. The plant worked as the boundary, façade and roof. The nature and human are linked closer in this building which is also one of the principles of Zendo-Existence being equal.
