This was once the default setting in the Welsh School of Architecture, as well as for a number of great architects \u2013 Aalto, Corbusier et al \u2013 but recently the reversion to the two distinct and separated traditions of the applied sciences verses the humanities. The overall quest of this Unit is to re-kindle and build upon these traditions. Probing architectural design through questions of history, culture and technology.
