In the words of Christopher Frayling, \u2019craftsmanship has again become fashionable\u2019.\nIn response to the concept of craft, the last century has seen a renewal of the term \u2018architect as maker\u2019. In contrast however, vast numbers of architects have also become increasingly disjointed from the making process and in consequence, a design often relies on tried and tested products to meet approved performance requirements, reducing specifications to a \u2018shopping list\u2019 of systems and products.","link":"https:\/\/wsa-ondisplay.co.uk\/2020\/category\/master-of-architecture\/year-5\/xvi-craft\/","name":"XVI Craft","slug":"xvi-craft","taxonomy":"category","parent":1022,"meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wsa-ondisplay.co.uk\/2020\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories\/1082"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wsa-ondisplay.co.uk\/2020\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wsa-ondisplay.co.uk\/2020\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/category"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wsa-ondisplay.co.uk\/2020\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories\/1022"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/wsa-ondisplay.co.uk\/2020\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts?categories=1082"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
