I aim to propose a space that is for the wider community of Butetown. I wish to create an all-encompassing space that brings together the multiple cultures and ethnicities surrounding the site. I aim to do this through the creation of a library that relies upon it\u2019s emphasis on the third space. To do this I will propose an outdoor based experience, providing a \u2018place to stop\u2019 amongst the busy town streets.<\/p>\n
The Library I will introduce moves far away from the traditional, moving away from a pure book rental service. I aim to put the concept of the third space at the centre of my proposal, making my proposal into a social and teaching hub for the community.<\/p>\n
