Affordable Housing for Carpenters

The design provides privacy for its user from the train station next to it while giving residents view to its surrounding. Different forms of entertainment and facilities are provided including a small library, rooftop garden, table tennis and carpentry workshop. These spaces encourage residents to engage with each other and allow more exchange of ideas between young carpenters, giving more opportunity for growth during their stay in the apartment building.

Komorebi refers to the scattered light passing through trees, the building appearance is formed by two building blocks with bridges to resemble tree branches, creating an interesting lighting effect with daylight.
