The Isle of Scilly rebel to take back control of their destiny using Pirate ways to create a new governing system in an innovative Climate state.
The thesis builds on the primer research and starts to investigate how the Isle of Scilly can educate visitors and change their future. The book ‘Be More Pirate’ has been the main influence on the development of the thesis. Pirates are the worlds biggest social innovators and create change where others are afraid. The Isle of Scilly will follow this movement and will fight to create a pirate climate state where they can try and combat the rising sea levels, housing crisis and lack of control. The Pirate parliament looks at rethinking everything and creating a parliament building that is equal and available for all.

Rewrite – Bend, break but most importantly rewrite the rules
Reorganise – Collaborate to achieve scale, rather than growth
Redistribute – Fight for fairness, share power and make an enemy of exploitation
Retell – Weaponize your story, then tell the hell out of it
