WSA Show 2021
Welcome to our virtual WSA degree show, launched on Friday 10th September 2021 at 6 pm. At the end of an exceptional year, this represents the culmination of exceptional efforts across the whole of the Welsh School of Architecture in the academic year 2020-2021. It has been curated by a dedicated team of our students, working collaboratively across programmes and years of study over many months. As you travel through it, you will encounter a variety of work from programmes ranging from Architecture (BSc and March) to Urban Design, Computational Methods in Architecture, Sustainable Building Conservation and Postgraduate Research that represent the breadth of the school’s teaching and research expertise. You will also be able to navigate the spectrum of topics and issues of architecture that students have been engaging with through their research and design projects. This work is not only presented in a new way in digital exhibition format to many of our past exhibitions, but is also emergent from new pedagogies, research methods, forms of communication and digital studios developed at pace in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. As Head of School, I am immensely proud of the determination, creativity and resilience that it demonstrates.
As well as enjoying the show, do join us for events in our week-long exhibition festival which the students are hosting from 13-18 September.
