A group project following individual development of shared initial concept- a theatre and arts centre for the Llandaff community situated in the historical Bishop's Palace.

Project Vision
The idea of a theatre, stage and prop has driven the design and the approach to both technology,
heritage and sustainability. The historic structure becomes the THEATRE, set against this a unique
backdrop the buildings are the STAGE for activity. The PROPS are the flexible fit out and adaptable
inspired by its performers... the users.
Project Brief
The brief is to develop the Bishops Castle site as a multi-functional community hub in the heart of
Llandaff. Respectful of the historic context and built for use by all. The schemes flexibility is key to both
its use and sustainability as a space able to adapt to the needs of the community now and in the future.
