Culinary Kiosk
The possibilities of the various views along the Millennium Walk inspired the basis of my kiosk's design. This featured modular seating which can be pulled out from the kiosk kitchen and moved around, allowing customers to choose their view whilst they eat.
At night, the Millennium Walk is dimly lit, making it dark and unsafe. After sunset, the modular seating is folded away and the Welsh Rarebit kiosk glows, becoming a light box and providing light along the boardwalk.
The kiosk's glow is achieved through the use of recycled polycarbonate walls and LED lights within the wall structure. The translucent material allows for the kiosk to illuminate the boardwalk.
