Project Description
A Leaning Terminal Network for Learning City
Learning Terminal is a new civic university system that welcomes more learners to university education. By creating more Learning Terminals in the city, the system helps all learners to be able to reach a learning terminal within a 15-minute walk of the city, and then create a learning terminal network in our city.
Despite the growth of university education today, many learners do not have access to university education and barriers to university education persist. Such a new concept is: By seeking various policy support, then launching a learning campaign and establishing Learning Terminals to help complete the establishment of an education system - Civic University.
The design was completed by interpreting a number of local policies in Cardiff, finding the pillars of the city's development and mapping out personas through searches and interviews, then sorting out the needs of different groups of people, dividing the space and distributing it according to architectural principles.
A learning city is the goal of a city and the establishment of effective learning networks can help transform cities and communities into learning cities. Learning networks are the basis for sustainable cities and are a good start to the massification of university education. Learning networks accelerate this process to a large extent and are a good
model for becoming a higher education.
