Project Description

The Open Re-Use centre, community remanufactory and learning centre for Eastville.

The proposal addresses the importance of re-use in the city, shared repair centre for the community and learning centre to discover circular economy.

Humans produce too much waste and are ineffective with the way they use resources. Circular economy needs to be implemented in the city to eliminate waste. The construction industry produces too much waste; a remanufactory could make circular economy possible.

By inviting the public to discover re-use, the project aims at changing mindsets. By cleaning sorting and repairing materials, the remanufactory implement circular economy into bristol. Artists, innovators and architects can then use the materials in shared workshops to upcycle them.

The project offers realistic solution to the climate crisis in the city. It makes circular economy possible, social and enjoyable.
