Project Description
River Avon Ecology Library
The library yearns to be the primary portal to the wealth of knowledge about environment and the interaction of habitats, species, plants, wildlife and humans with each other in urban settings.
The library is designed to raise the awareness while motivating and encouraging the local researchers, Volunteers and visitors around Bristol.
The users will have an opportunity to engage in academic pursuits while being surrounded by the native biodiverse environment.
An ecology library is a model for environmental stewardship through its use of locally sourced materials, its extensive rainwater collecting system and the preservation of Bristol's ecology.
