Shades of Time

The aim was to create a stage that changes over time.

At first, the copper cladding will stand out against its surroundings, a polished golden color. But over time, as the festival finishes, the copper will oxidise to a green color, blending into the surroundings to reduce its impact on the view of the site.

The orientation of the stage helps to project sound over to the rest of the bay, drawing people over to the site.

The cooper cladding wrapping down, combined with the wooden fins, creates a sense of grounding and an attachment to the site.
