VISION : To create an interactive city centre with vibrant 24 – hour public places used throughout the year. The vision is to achieve that by introducing active, flexible, and adaptive design interventions to the "in- between" transit

The conceptual intention behind this project was to analyze, include and implement various design interventions in ways through which the intensity of public activity can be the source that attracts population density to the site. The aim was also to do so by taking a realistic approach to the design, by including and highlighting the existing morphology of the context in the design intervention and forming relationships between the different spatial dimensions to create new, interactive, diverse and vibrant experiences throughout the 24 x7x365 life cycle of the site. The goal of the project is to achieve the essence of the proposed design by creating a ladder for citizen participation, to develop design interventions that cater to local needs and desires, and to provide the public dimension with power, agency and opportunity to appropriate public spaces with changing times.
