Project Description
George Bacovia's Creative Shelter
This project represents the writing space for the Romanian poet George Bacovia. The shelter is designed to fulfill his needs and create an environment where his creativity can manifest freely.
Architects need to understand an analyze the user that they are designing for. So to better understand my user I created a short animation that shows how he will utilize the space created. The link to this animation: https://youtu.be/Qmy4ihIkp0I.
Because my user in an introvert I decided to design the shape of the structure in a way that introduces him to nature while keeping him protected. The space opens to the outside through the big window situated in front of the writing desk. When entering the space using the small door the window appears to be larger.
The project will represent a safe space for the writer to create his unique poetry.

I find architecture so interesting because of the social impact that it has and because of its beautiful past. I hope one day to use my creativity to design a better world for all of us.
