Shelter for a Musician

This is a creative shelter for a musician, who is around 40 years old and working in Afro-American music traditions seeking isolation or inspiration in his private studio.

So I have based my design to fit a real musician, Burna Boy. I used his music, background, spatial needs, and anthropometrics to influence the design of my shelter.

This is shown in the design elements of the building which creates a sense of rhythm that mimics the beat of his songs. Or incorporating stilts which were inspired by the houses in Makoko, Nigeria that were built above the water.

The final outcome reflects the user in a variety of ways and is a space where the user can work effectively because of its organisation and the seamless integration of the furniture.
