Creative Shelter

The aim of the project was to create a studio space in Bute Park for a musician to practice and rehearse in.

The space needs to reflect the surroundings and create a peaceful and inspiring environment within the nature of the park.

By incorporating natural light and an indoor-outdoor section, the musician has the opportunity to rehearse whilst being surrounded by nature so they can be inspired by all the sounds of the park. They also have the opportunity for their music to be heard throughout Bute Park by passers-by.

The shelter creates a relaxing yet productive environment for the musician to work in whilst immersed in nature.
