Place of retreat on the threshold of industry and nature
Industry, culture, tectonics, heritage
The industrial aspect of the site had interested me and therefore throughout the project I had been paying attention to the elements of the engineering connections and the purity of form of industrial architecture.
By considering different material relations and changing proportions of the building, while exposing the junctions and expressing the poetry of the tectonics
Everything is a path. From a larger scale to smaller, from exposed details to concealed. Everything is significant. Even a bolt is poetic.
