How can health based blue spaces be created in the city?

The current health situation of Newham is not very good and the participation of local residents in sports is not ideal. In this context, I looked at the relationship between blue space and health.

I could improve health by increasing the number of water bodies. For the urban planning, I exposed culverted watercourses to increase water bodies. At the same time, public spaces were added along the water bodies to integrate movement into daily life. In terms of architectural design, a suitable location along the river was chosen for the design of the activity center to encourage people to participate in sports.

I took an abstract concept as an entry point, from the urban level to the architectural level. Therefore, it is important to think about the problem from different scales. It is a process of studying the city and architecture from one problem to another. So thinking at different scales helps me to find the right direction for my research.
