What if climate destruction has meant that humanity is at the end of the road and as of tomorrow, and we need to take radical steps to change the way we live? What would this world look like? How would we change the way we live?
In the face of the ever-increasing threat posed by the climate emergency, our unit emerges as a passionate endeavour to confront this global challenge head-on.
Focused on the vibrant city of Bristol, our unit explores innovative approaches to both urban policy-making and master-planning, which seeks to disrupt conventional practices and envision a future where our built environment becomes a catalyst for positive change. Our project emphasises the urgent need to adjust and evolve in response to the changing climate landscape, recognising the interdependence between human societies and our plant’s ecosystems.
Through extensive research, engagement and analysis, our units proposes radical policy changes that will guide Bristol towards a resilient and sustainable future. These policies will serve as the foundation for our exploration of architectural design, resulting in the creation of a visionary building that exemplifies adaptability and addresses the pressing challenges of the climate emergency.
